I just got the 0.7 upgrade. The first thing that happens on launch is that it says "This seems to be the first time you are using Rooms. Please enter some default user settings at first."

If I don't click OK, it does then connect using my existing settings, but the dialogue box doesn't go away and the app hangs.

If I do click OK, it takes me to a configuration screen and the app hangs.

The app is completely unusable in this state. I'm using an 8 gig first generation iPod Touch.

Hi I can't join channel purjolök on my iPod 2G using rooms. The ö is decoded wrong by rooms into something completely strange. Even if I invite with the correct letter rooms then converts it wrong. Is there a way for me to join my favourite channel (the only one I ever use irc for)?

#1282 Please add the ability to delete pictures from the picture bridge. Also would be nice if one could browse them 10 pics at a time, instead of current first 10 or so and then all the rest. Would also be nice if it was as easy to send PictureBridge pics to the chat as it currently is to send them from the IPhone collection. When using rooms with dircproxy, it doesn't accept the server forcing a channel join, preventing the server from providing a log of the chat while the client wasn't connected.

Hi, i have recently purchased this application, and it looks and works GREAT..apart from one thing. I can send private msgs fine, but i cannot recieve any??? and at the moment it is set so only registered nicknames can send private msgs(mode +r)??

is there any fixes for this?

Hi,

I've been using Rooms on my iPhone for the last couple of weeks, but I have to say it is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a connection to a network (and a room/channel), but just as many other times the app just keeps showing that it is connecting without ever doing so. Going back to the Homescreen and coming back to the Rooms app doesn't help. Neither does rebooting the entire iPhone. What is going on? Anything I can do to fix this? Is there an IRC help-channel for Rooms-related questions may be?

I updated to the newest. Now when i go to change rooms by swiping my finger it crashes. I am jailbroken just so you know but all my other apps are functioning fine. Any solutions is greatly appreciated as i had moved from colloquy to this and was really enjoying it.

i am very pleased to have an irc client on my iphone. But I found a Bug which i need to be fixed.

When I want to add more than one Room which is password secured, then I have to write this pw once again. When I have done it, then the App closes every time i try it.

#8 Alerts and better font Feature Request 09/08/08

Hey.

Overall rooms is pretty nice, but I have a couple of suggestions.

First of all, it would be great to have a little notification circle appear when there are new messages in a chat that you are not currently viewing, as at the moment I am having to constantly flick between chats to check for new messages. Also, perhaps a different colored circle for when your nickname is mentioned.

Secondly, I think Arial would be a much better font for the chat text, as the current one (times or something) is a bit messy.

Join irc.gamesurge.net using Rooms and you will see what I mean.

You have to hit the cancel button at least 5 or 6 times each time you join a room on that server.

Is it possible to add autonick complete? If the app uses the same core as colloquy then adding this feature should be a piece of cake being that colloquy has it. That would make this app perfect.

I would like to request a new feature for Rooms. Rooms is a great client and replaced colloquy with it. However, the one thing I would like Rooms to have is now playing support for music that is playing.
