No connections possible.

Hi,

I've been using Rooms on my iPhone for the last couple of weeks, but I have to say it is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a connection to a network (and a room/channel), but just as many other times the app just keeps showing that it is connecting without ever doing so. Going back to the Homescreen and coming back to the Rooms app doesn't help. Neither does rebooting the entire iPhone. What is going on? Anything I can do to fix this? Is there an IRC help-channel for Rooms-related questions may be?

You can find the IRC support channel directly in the main menu (tap the button to the lower left) ;o)
Because I'm from europe, make sure that you try that in different daytimes *g*

To the problem:
Are you using the Undernet Servers?
Those are using some oldstyle ident "feature": in case the client doesnt provide an ident on port 113, the server shows a password which the client must respond in a PASS message. I added a little "script" to the next update which will fix this issue, but until then, you should try some Undernet servers which dont need this absurd response.

Which servers are you using? Undernet is the example with the most amount of those servers, but there are also some other networks out there.
