Operation with dircproxy

When using rooms with dircproxy, it doesn't accept the server forcing a channel join, preventing the server from providing a log of the chat while the client wasn't connected.

So this is a me too!

btw, the output from /dircproxy <command> generally goes to the server
window but that doesn't appear to be present in the list of channels
(I guess that's fair since it's not really a joined channel).

Looks like the output of things like "/dircproxy help" go to the console
window but that's a big pain to get to while connected to a server.

This also happens with jbouncer. You see the history being transmitted from the server, then it gets replaced with the loaded history and list of user names.

This is really important to me -- I do all my chatting via bip, the irc proxy, and backscroll is one of the ways the iphone's sometimes-on connection will allow me to participate in channels. Whatever I can do to make this a priority, I would like to do. :)

So... i just found some time to finally set up my psyBNC and found some of the issues you described :o)

Especially the fact that the chatlog is send after the channel is joined but before the webview is loaded (so it was overwritten).
I fixed this along some other little issues regarding this feature for the upcoming update, and actually it works fine for me (using psybnc with a performOnConnect command sending me the last logs)

The only thing i wonder is the fact from the first post, that rooms doesnt accept to be force-joined to a channel > that works fine here... But lets see if everything works fine with dircproxy also after the release in some days.
